Paintball by Peter Brickwood
A Climate Change Novel
Before Greta galvanized the world’s youth to take action on climate change there were many individuals and groups struggling to be heard. This is the story of a young man who, by himself, protests climate change in a peculiarly personal way. He also wants to move a church from an island being flooded because of climate change to an inland hilltop. Gradually he collects a group of friends to help.
Peter Brickwood is a crotchety old introvert. He used to have two cats that he is not sure how he acquired, but they graciously permitted him to live in a hundred year old house, which has no lack of things to fix. Sadly, one of the cats passed away so now he has one cat and mice. Building Lego, with kids at the local library, is a great pastime for him. Otherwise, he is a voracious consumer of books, movies, and arcane bits of information mined out of the internet.
